All of this means that we need to be realistic about the likely length and types (e.g., lockdown levels, staff absence due to isolating etc) of interruption to our businesses – and factor this into our planning and decision-making now. Early planning is especially important for franchisors, as time is like gold when it comes to the need to implement tough decisions / changes.
