Established in 1989, Franchize Consultants (NZ) Limited is New Zealand’s leading specialist franchise consultancy. Our team has experience in franchise development in Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe, USA and South America.
We also have a strong alliance with independent franchise consultants covering the main centres in Australia, and since this time have also established contacts with franchise consultants in other countries.
We have always placed great emphasis on continual learning and remaining at the leading edge of franchise knowledge and technology. Accordingly, our Directors regularly attend and speak at international franchise seminars and conferences, and all our staff read the many international franchise journals, publications and research information to which we subscribe.

We are management consultants concentrating principally on helping individuals and companies explore and implement franchising and licensing, and, furthering the development and upgrading of existing franchise and licence programmes.
We are proud of the work we have undertaken with many leading local, international and emerging companies.
We do not sell franchises. However, our marketing department formulates the strategies and creates marketing and promotional material for use in the sale of franchises. Our only source of income is the specialised franchise information and know-how that we provide.
We do not receive any sales commissions or income from other organisations’ products or services. This enables us to be totally client focused, with the capacity to be objective and to honestly evaluate and recommend in the true interests of the client.

Our systematic ‘Project Control’ allows complete accountability, from the pre commissioning evaluation through to defining the scope and objectives of the work, project tracking, reporting timetables and work completion.

FANZ Involvement
We have supported the Franchise Association of New Zealand (FANZ) since its inception. We took an active part in the formation and administration of FANZ and its forerunner, the FAANZ (Franchise Association of Australia and New Zealand). Franchize Consultants provided the FANZ’s first chairman, and have held senior board positions since that time – including another Chairman.
In 2014, in recognition of their achievements, Franchize Consultants’ original founder Fraser Heaven, and long-time and immediate past Managing Director, Win Robinson, were inducted into Life Membership of the Franchise Association of New Zealand.
Dr Callum Floyd, Franchize Consultants’ Managing Director, has been a board member of the Franchise Association of New Zealand since 2012. Callum was Vice Chairman from 2016-2018, and is now the current Chairman.
